Passenger fatally shot by gunman who followed car in Los Angeles
A gunman opened fire and killed a passenger after pursuing the victim’s vehicle through the Granada Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles overnight.
The incident was reported around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday near Shoshone Avenue and Rinaldi Street.
Investigators learned the victim’s vehicle was being chased by an unknown suspect who opened fire and shot the passenger, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.
The 19-year-old passenger was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No description of the suspect’s vehicle or the gunman, who drove away after the shooting, was available.
