A24 has released the official trailer for "Past Lives," writer Celine Song’s directorial debut starring Greta Lee.

The romantic drama film centers around a relationship over the course of decades. Lee, 39, who is best known for her role as Maxine in “Russian Doll,” plays Nora. Her childhood best friend, Hae Sung, is played by South Korean actor Teo Yoo, 41, who is best known for his role as Viktor Tsoi in the musical movie “Leto.”

Their friendship and burgeoning romance are interrupted when Nora's family moves from Seoul to Canada. The pair reconnect 12 years later through social media, but it takes another 12 years for them to meet again in person. By then, Nora is married to another man.

“Past Lives” received critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival last month and was screened at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this week. A24 produced the film along with 2AM and Killer Films. It will be distributed by CJ ENM.
