  1. Patchogue Fire Department is proud to announce its first woman officer. Firefighter Morgan Poulos Keating has made department history as the first woman officially nominated as an officer. She comes from a family of firefighters and will proudly serve the Patchogue Village community. (Long Island Advance)

  2. Police released the ID of the man who was hit by a car in Medford on Jan. 4. The victims was 29-year-old Saul Lozada of Patchogue.The accident happened on North Ocean Avenue. He was crossing the road when he was hit. Lozada was transported to Long Island Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.(News 12 Long Island)

  3. New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance is accepting applications for COVID-19 rent relief in the towns of Brookhaven and Babylon.
