  1. The Midnight on Main St. in Patchogue is canceled because of COVID-19 issues. The big celebration was scheduled for Friday, New Year’s Eve, in Patchogue but event organizers announced the cancellation on Tuesday. (Greater Long Island)

  2. Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts announced a new edition of Jokes on Main, its new comedy series with Tri-State's funniest stand-up comedians, Michael Somerville, Motts Pelazza, Joey Callahan, and Bill Chiang. The event will happen on Friday, Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. The show content is not recommended for children. Tickets are $30 plus fees. Save $5 per ticket when ordering 10 or more tickets.   3. The second annual Patchogue Plunge is back after being canceled in 2020. The event is hosted by the Patchogue Young Professionals and will happen during the Super Bowl weekend on Feb. 13. This year's plunge will benefit the Gabby Petito Foundation. (Patchogue Patch)
