Patreon, Grammarly platforms blocked in Russia

On Grammarly’s website, a page with a statement about the suspension of its work in Russia and Belarus has been blocked, but since its websites use the https protocol, the entire resource is not available in Russia.
Grammarly suspended services in Russia and Belarus on March 4. Since then, when trying to access our services from those countries, users were redirected to a webpage that included Grammarly’s statement about the condemnation of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and encouraged people to rely only on credible sources to stay informed about the war. On August 6, Roskomnadzor blocked access to this webpage.

The U.S. fund-raising platform Patreon in March decided to continue cooperation with Russian content makers even in the face of U.S. government sanctions.
Roskomnadzor (the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media), as well as monitoring and censoring Russia’s domestic media, is used by the dictatorship to block Russians’ access to certain websites and Internet resources.
