Whataburger is opening a new Northland restaurant.

The location, at 8851 N. Ambassador Drive, was scheduled to open at 11 a.m. Monday with 24/7 drive-thru service only. In the next few weeks it will add onsite dining, online ordering through the Whataburger app and Whataburger.com, as well as curbside and delivery options.

The Texas-based Whataburger is known for its made-to-order burgers. It also has breakfast items, fries with dipping sauces including jalapeno ranch and honey barbecue, onion rings, salads, shakes and desserts.

The new location is by KMO Burger LLC, with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as a partner. It has several area locations.
