Patrick Mahomes ‘Superman Throw’ will be featured in Madden NFL 24 video game

Here is a measure of how great Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been in his career.

Mahomes’ worst passer rating came in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LV loss to the Buccaneers. Yet during the game, the Tampa Bay players were calling him a “magician” and “unbelievable.”

At one point, they asked each other “How’d he do that?” after Mahomes threw a pass 30 yards while he was parallel to the ground.

That could have been one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history, but the ball hit Darrel Williams in the facemask in the end zone and fell to the ground.

Still, that incomplete pass from Mahomes made the NFL’s Top 100 plays from the 2020 season.

That pass will be part of the new Madden NFL 24 game from EA Sports. The trailer for the video game was released Wednesday and it includes what is being called Mahomes’ “Superman Throw.”
