Patrick Peterson finally got his revenge on the Arizona Cardinals in Sunday's 34-26 win for the Minnesota Vikings on the field.

He had more words for the organization, and the general manager of the team, off of it.

Peterson, who played in Arizona for 10 seasons before joining the Vikings last season, sounded off on the team that drafted him the No. 5 pick in the NFL draft in 2011 after Sunday's NFL Week 8 win for Minnesota.

“I have been told a lot of things about me from that organization,” Peterson said after the game, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “I got fan mails from the owner [Michael Bidwill] saying I can’t tackle. I’m old. I lost it. I wanted to go out there and show them. Now they see me."

Peterson had three passes defensed in the win for the Vikings over the Cardinals and added four tackles, although he didn't have two interceptions, like he recently predicted on his podcast .

“I’m getting two (interceptions) October 30,” he had recently said on his podcast, "All Things Covered," with Bryant McFadden. “You already know who we are playing."

Peterson had also said: “I can’t wait. This is when the special celebration comes out. Put your seatbelt on because we’re about to ride.”

On Sunday, the defensive back directed some words toward Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury after one of his pass breakups during the game and had words with Arizona's sideline throughout the game.

He also mocked quarterback Kyler Murray after an interception by teammate Harrison Smith with a dance from the Call of Duty video game.

"I think it was Call of Duty," Peterson said, according to ESPN, when asked to identify his dance after the game. "Is that what they call it? Modern Warfare? I'm not a gamer. I don't know anything about video games. I just heard that game just came out."

Peterson continued, according to ESPN: "All I heard the last two years is that 'He's washed up, he's done.' I know we've still got a second half of the season to go, but I'm just getting started. Like, I'm in my zone right now. I'm in a groove.

"I've been here before, I know how to keep it. And I want to continue being challenged, and continue helping this team win ballgames.

"Because I promise you this, if I get challenged, I will show up on the stat sheet. And that's why I've been missing out on Pro Bowls and All-Pros. I'm here. Twelve years in and I'm still standing strong."

Peterson had a message for Cardinals general manager Steve Keim as he was leaving the field Sunday.

"Where is Steve Keim, he's still running from me," Peterson said. ""That's what I want to talk about, man to man, face to face. Stop running. I want to talk to him in his face, I want him to see this. I want to see to him person to person. Yeah, I need to see him person to person, stop running.  Stop running! You said you were going to call me back. It's two years later."

Peterson and his former team haven't exactly been on the best of terms since he left Arizona.

In August of last year, Peterson curiously omitted DeAndre Hopkins and other Cardinals receivers when listing the top wide receivers he would face that season, while mentioning some receivers he wouldn't play.

In July of last year, Peterson slammed Keim without mentioning him by name.

“How come coaches are always on the hot seat, but GMs are not?" Peterson said on his podcast. "That's kind of a little weird to me.

"Most good GMs have a five to 10-year plan, and I don’t think they have that there."

In May of last year, Peterson said he had the Vikings' Week 2 game against Arizona "circled."

“The division games are going to be always a dogfight, you know what I mean" Peterson said on his podcast, "but the one I circled is definitely Week 2, that's not even close. That's not even close."

The Cardinals won the first game against Peterson with the Vikings in that Week 2 matchup in Arizona last season, 34-33.

Peterson finally got revenge on the organization with Minnesota's 34-26 win on Sunday.
