Patterson wins two events on CIJGA Tour

Jun. 18—Lebanon's Audrey Patterson picked up a couple of wins on the Central Indiana Junior Golf Association Tour this week.

On Thursday, Patterson won girls 15-18 age group at the tour stop at Deer Track. She shot an 87 to win the event by six shots.

Lebanon's Emma Hornbecker was third in the age group with a 99.

Just two days earlier, Patterson won the tour stop at the Ravines, shooting a 77.

USGA Boys Junior Quals

Several local golfers competed in the USGA Boys Junior Am qualifier at Ackerman-Allen.

Zionsville's Adam Melliere just missed qualification, placing tied for 11th with a 72, one shot from qualifying.

Melliere had a steady round, with 15 pars, a birdie and two bogeys.

Zionsville's Andrew Wall and Gavin Poole tied for 23rd after shooting 74s.

Wall was even on the front, with seven pars, a birdie and a bogey. He had four pars, a birdie and four bogeys on the back.

Poole finished his round with 11 pars, two birdies and five bogeys.

Mac Dudasko placed tied for 34th with a 75.

He had eight pars, three birdies and seven bogeys for his round.

Kevin McGowan finished tied for 57th with a 79.

McGowan had two birdies, four bogeys and 11 pars.

Junior Tour

The Indiana Junior Golf Tour made a stop at the Players Club in Yorktown on Thursday.

In the boys 13-15 age group, Brycen Tisch placed tied for sixth with a 77. He had two birdies, nine pars and seven bogeys in his round.

In the girls 16-19 age group, Addison Echeverria placed tied for seventh with an 84.

She had a birdie, six bogeys, two doubles and eight pars.

Lebanon's Anna Robbins placed 10th with an 86.

Robbinson had a birdie, eight pars, five bogeys and three doubles in her round.

In the boys 16-19 age group, Zionsville's Sawyer Weed tied for 11th with an 82.

Weed had three birdies, four bogeys, three doubles and seven pars in his round.

Also in the age group, Ozzy Inman placed 27th with a 92.

He had a birdie, four pars, six bogeys and six doubles in his round.

Prep Tour

The Indiana Prep Tour went to the Cascades on Thursday.

Zionsville's Robert Rhoades placed third in the boys 11-12 age group.

Rhoades shot a 90.

He had a birdie, eight bogeys and four pars in his round.
