The Arizona Diamondbacks will have one player in the 2022 MLB All-Star Game.

But the July 19 game at Dodger Stadium will include several familiar faces to fans of Arizona's MLB team.

Diamondbacks reliever Joe Mantiply was named an All-Star reserve on Sunday, the team's lone All-Star game representative.

But former Diamondbacks Paul Goldschmidt, Jazz Chisholm, Dansby Swanson, Starling Marte will join Mantiply on the National League roster. J.D. Martinez is on the American League roster.

Goldschmidt, a first baseman now with the St. Louis Cardinals, and Chisholm a shortstop now with the Miami Marlins, are starters in the game.

Swanson, now with the Atlanta Braves, is a reserve infielder. Marte, now with the New York Mets, is a reserve outfielder.

Martinez, the designated hitter for the Boston Red Sox, was named to the team as an injury replacement.

Here's a look at the five former Diamondbacks in the 2022 MLB All-Star Game:

Paul Goldschmidt

Goldschmidt played the first eight years of his career in Arizona, before getting traded to the Cardinals for Carson Kelly, Luke Weaver and Andrew Young.

The first baseman is a favorite for the NL MVP this season. He has 107 hits, 28 doubles, 19 home runs and 65 RBIs so far this season.

He is hitting a remarkable .340 on the season.

The second baseman is hitting .254 for the Marlins this season. He has 54 hits, 10 doubles, four triples and 14 home runs, with 45 RBIs.

In seven seasons with the Braves, Swanson has hit .255 with 699 hits, 91 home runs and 365 RBIs.

He's batting .302 this season, with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs.

Starling Marte

In 2020, Arizona traded Starling Marte to the Marlins in a deal that included left-hander Caleb Smith after Marte had only played 33 games with the Diamondbacks.

Marte, now with the Mets, is hitting .291 in 2022, with nine home runs and 40 RBIs.

He has 87 hits on the season.

He hit .311 in his 33 games with the Diamondbacks in 2020.

J.D. Martinez

Martinez, 34, is hitting .313 with nine homers, 38 RBI, 50 runs and an .880 OPS with the Red Sox this season. This is his fifth All-Star selection.

The Diamondbacks acquired Martinez in 2017 in a trade with the Detroit Tigers for Jose King (minors), Sergio Alcantara and Dawel Lugo, and Martinez spent a memorable 62 games in Arizona that season before signing with the Red Sox as a free agent.
