NEW YORK — Paul McCartney, Hailee Steinfeld and native New Yorker Lin-Manuel Miranda are among the stars who will headline talks at the Tribeca Festival next month, organizers announced Tuesday.

McCartney is set to chat with Conan O’Brien for a taping of the podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend,” while the Washington Heights-bred Miranda will sit down with Brooklyn-born actress Rosie Perez for a conversation.

Both of those events are part of the New York festival’s “Storytellers Series,” as are talks starring “Hawkeye” actress Steinfeld, actor Billy Porter and musical artists Chance the Rapper and Megan Thee Stallion. A conversation between rocker John Mellencamp and former late-night star David Letterman is also scheduled, along with an event featuring the music producer Diplo.

Organizers on Tuesday also announced film reunions featuring the casts of 1982′s “Wild Style,” 1991′s “New Jack City” and 1998′s “How Stella Got Her Groove Back.” The festival’s “Director Series,” meanwhile, will include chats between Steven Soderbergh and David Fincher and between Patty Jenkins and Katie Holmes.

“We hope the extraordinary stories and valuable insights of these distinguished cultural icons will inspire and empower the next generation of creators and artists,” Meredith Mohr, Tribeca’s VP of artist relations, said in a statement.

Jane Fonda is set to be honored with the third edition of the festival’s Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award. Belafonte died last week at age 96.

Tuesday’s announcements come two weeks after organizers unveiled the feature film slate for the festival, which takes place from June 7-18. A live production recording of the Broadway musical “Waitress” and a film exploring Hell’s Kitchen-born Alicia Keys’ songwriting camp are among the 109 selections.

The festival will also feature the TV premieres of the Soderbergh-directed “Full Circle,” as well as “The Golden Boy,” a documentary series about former star boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

This year marks the 22nd edition of the Tribeca Festival, which Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff co-founded in 2002 to support Lower Manhattan after 9/11. Originally titled the Tribeca Film Festival, the event rebranded in 2021 as it embraces additional programming including musical performances and podcasts.

Last year’s festival featured talks with Derek Jeter, who premiered his ESPN documentary series “The Captain” there, and Taylor Swift, who wrote, directed and starred in “All Too Well: The Short Film.”
