Paulina Porizkova is not here for the ageism.

Paulina Porizkova made it clear that she has no problem with aging or her physical appearance as a result of getting older.

On Friday, the 57-year-old supermodel took to Instagram to clap back at a plastic surgeon who allegedly pointed out everything “wrong” with her face in a since-deleted post.

Sharing an intentionally close-up selfie, Porizkova wrote that she discovered the same snap had been reposted by the doctor, who went on to “[discuss] in detail what [she] needed done.”

"Those pesky hollows under my cheeks could be gotten rid of with fillers, Botox for my forehead, those wrinkles on the side of my mouth, and the chords in my neck, and a whole bunch of lasers to tighten and smooth and tighten everything," she wrote in the caption, running down the list of suggested improvement procedures.

“This is what an older woman in the public eye gets to deal with. I’m told my face needs ‘fixing.’ It has somehow gone ‘wrong’ by aging,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum continued. “Is it any wonder that most of us who have the means will resort to some forms of fixing what we’re told is broken?”

The post was met with a wave of support, as fans, friends and followers took to the comments to pen notes in agreement of her sentiments.

"You can’t fix perfection. Which is what we all can be if we allow ourselves the compassion to believe xx," fashion photographer Nigel Barker wrote, with another Instagram user commenting: "May we all be this lucky to have your natural beauty inside and out. And by the way - kindness and humanity is a beauty that can’t be purchased and doesn’t age."

Porizkova, who in 2021 posed “full-frontal nude” and un-retouched for the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia, went on to share the non-surgical procedures she has undergone in full transparency.

"For the record, I have had laser treatments. And the plasma pen," she divulged. "I’d like to strike a balance between being proud to look my age and still get to feel pretty at times. In my job, I’m faced with my own face in almost unnatural detail - and although I have come to accept most of it, I still have a rough time accepting it all."

The model continued her lengthy caption, challenging industry standards and the people who accept them: “But telling a woman what she ‘needs’ to do herself in order to be seen as attractive, whether it’s hair color, makeup, skin creams or clothing – or the more invasive options – is shaming her. Every time you catch yourself thinking or saying ‘you know, you should…’ to a friend, stop for a moment. If she doesn’t ask for help, are you really helping?”

Porizkova wrapped up the social media post with an offering to her 808K followers. "Find what you think is beautiful in your friends and point it out. The best way to support one another is to celebrate what is already there," she wrote.

“I think we’ve made enormous strides in accepting all different sorts of beauty … But age, ageism, that’s kind of like the last frontier,” the model told Page Six in 2021.
