"Pawn Stars Do America" is coming to Louisville and will be hiring local people as extras for episodes of the long-running History Channel TV show.

"Pawn Stars" will hold two June tapings in Kentucky − one in Louisville and one in Taylorsville − as part of the show's "Pawn Stars Do America" series, according to a release from a show spokesperson. The crew has previously gone to Denver and Savannah, Georgia, which are among their top-rated episodes, per IMBD.

People 18 and older can bring a "cool and unique item" to get the chance to sell it to the cast for cash on the spot, the release said. Attendees will also get the chance to "mingle on set," watch the cast work and see the show getting filmed.

The crew will tape for three days in each spot and no acting experience is required — "fun, everyday people" are encouraged to apply.

Those who get selected and can attend a full day as an extra will get $150 and a meal and days start around 9 a.m. Applications for an extra spot can be submitted online.

Those who can only attend part of the day but still want an opportunity to sell an item can apply for free tickets.

"Pawn Stars" will be in Louisville from June 13-15 and in Taylorsville from June 21-23.
