How to pay the least (or the most) for Radio City Spectacular

The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes runs 90 intermissionless minutes with up to five performances per day. The performance calendar at www.rockettes.com shows a dizzying array of prices and performances from Nov. 18 to Jan. 2, 2023, with tickets ranging from $46 to a staggering $629.

The cheapest seats listed, for $46, are for these performances: Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.; Nov. 26 at 10 p.m.; Nov. 28 at 2 or 8 p.m.; Nov. 29 at 8 p.m.; Nov. 30 at 11 a.m.; Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.; Dec. 14 at 5 p.m.

To save the service charges on online orders — which start at $19 per ticket, and vary, depending on performance, date, and seating location — buy tickets at the Radio City Box Office, Sixth Avenue at 50th Street, at Madison Square Garden or the Beacon Theater box office. The Radio City box office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday. During the run of the Spectacular, it remains open until one hour after the last performance begins.

The Rockettes also offer premium "experiences," including:

"Dance Workshops," a ticket to select Spectacular performances followed by one-hour or two-hour dance workshops taught by Rockettes.

"Sounds of Christmas," a ticket to the Spectacular and a chance for you and your chorus (of up to 50), to perform a 5-minute a cappella holiday-themed song on the Radio City stage before the opening curtain.

Then there's the "Roxy Suite Reception." If money is no object, those wanting the "ultimate New York holiday experience" can book the fifth-floor private apartment built for the theater’s impresario Samuel “Roxy” Rothafel. These VIP tickets, which top out at a whopping $629, include:

  • Premium tickets to the Christmas Spectacular;

  • Pre-show reception with buffet and open bar;

  • Private entrance into Radio City Music Hall;

  • Personal "Christmas Concierge" who will escort the ticket holder to their seat.
