PBS Antiques Roadshow to air episodes filmed in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The episodes of the PBS program’s Antiques Roadshow that were shot in Louisiana are scheduled to air this month.

The program recorded the episodes at the LSU Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge in May 2023. Antiques Roadshow chose the Rural Life Museum to participate in the series’ 28th season tour.

Many Louisiana residents attended the free appraisal event to have their collectibles featured on the show and by the end of the day, the production team had a ton of footage.

“For Louisiana to be a part of this experience is amazing,” said Clarence “C.C” Copeland, Louisiana Public Broadcasting president and CEO. “The national exposure our state will receive on such a popular show is priceless. LPB is happy that we were able to contribute that day and we are so pleased to now share the results with all of Louisiana.”
