PD: Man tries to fraud Target with fake return

WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for a suspect after he allegedly tried to return a box without the product and instead filled it with blankets and pillows.

On April 29 police say a man entered Target and attempted to return an empty box, claiming it contained a specific item.

The box was found to have a pillow, a Christmas tree skirt, a Christmas rug, a Ravens blanket, and several pillowcase covers instead, officers said.

Investigators report that the suspect drove out of the parking lot from the entrance to the exit roadway to obscure the license plate.
