POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say two people are being charged after a traffic stop led them to run into the woods to avoid officers and arrest.

According to the Pocono Township Police Department, in December 2023 officers pulled over a car on State Route 611 in Swiftwater for passing multiple vehicles in the turn-only lane.
