WAYNESBORO — Police in Waynesboro arrested a man last week on child pornography charges after he was accused of recording children, according to a press release.

Police said the suspect also reportedly filmed adults.

On Jan. 12, the Waynesboro Police Department responded to a business on the west end, where a woman alleged the "unlawful creation of an image of another," according to a press release.

Police conducted a preliminary investigation and arrested 49-year-old Kennth B. Harris. Authorities also searched his residence in the 1300 block of 3rd Street.

The press release said police determined Harris allegedly recorded juveniles and adults at different locations. Police did not say where the alleged filming took place.

Harris, arrested Jan. 14, faces 10 charges of possessing child pornography, two charges of knowing and intentionally creating a video graphic or still image of a non-consenting person under 18, and a misdemeanor charge of knowing and intentionally creating a video graphic or still image of a non-consenting person.

Following his arrest, Harris was released on a $12,000 secured bond, police said.
