Peabody Institute Library To Host Weekly Vaccination Clinics
PEABODY, MA — A trip to pick up that new book or magazine could now also include a coronavirus vaccination at the Peabody Institute Library.
Starting this week on Wednesday, the library will host a weekly vaccination clinic on the second floor of its Main Street location from 3 to 7 p.m. The clinics are in partnership with Mass General Brigham and the Peabody Health Department.
The clinics are all walk-in, free and will run at least throughout the spring. Immigration status will not be asked.
The clinic will offer the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for those 5 years old and older, as well as boosters for those 12 and older.
Any questions can be directed to the Peabody Health Department at 978-538-5926.
"We are honored to help make Peabody a safer and healthier place," said Library Director Cate Merlin and Peabody Health Director Sharon Cameron in a joint statement on the vaccines.
