Peabody Students Making Their Marks In College Ranks

PEABODY, MA — The school year may look a lot of different for college students this fall but there are some Peabody residents who are managing to make their mark amid the coronavirus health crisis.

Gabie Hebert serves as a peer mentor for first-year students at the University of Vermont College of Nursing and Health Sciences for the 2020-21 academic year. Known as "LINKS," mentors provide first-year students with friendship, guidance and a connection to the UVM community.

The University of Vermont (UVM) College of Nursing and Health Sciences prepares the next generation of health care professionals through a purposeful continuum of patient care that includes health and wellness promotion, illness and injury prevention and the management of disability and disease.

Nichols College has welcomed the newest members of our herd. Jenarro Herbert, of Peabody, has enrolled at Nichols College as a member of the class of 2024.

Lasell College welcomed Peabody students back to its virtual and campus community this fall as well.

Patrick Carbone will study communications.

Yalines Medrano of Peabody will study forensic science.

Madison Nerich of Peabody will study health science.

Meaghan Csongor of Peabody will study marketing.
