Tonight's (November 3) episode of Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer saw Peaky Blinders star Stephen Graham mix up a famous phrase.

While watching The Great British Bake Off alongside his wife, Whitechapel star Hannah Walters, and children, Stephen misremembered the famous saying, 'Don't cry over spilled milk', instead inventing his own term, "Don't cry into your cake mix".

"Isn't it a famous saying, 'Don't cry into your cake mix' or something?" he asked his family, as Bake Off contestant Cristy struggled to get her cake to set during Botanical Week.

"No, I think that's 'Don't cry over spilt milk', you idiot," his wife Hannah replied. "Don't cry over your cake mix? That's not a saying, Stephen."

"Well, it is now," he claimed as his children laughed.

Elsewhere on the episode, a whole host of famous faces joined the nation's armchair critics in order to raise awareness for the charity, reacting to shows such as Made in Chelsea, Planet Earth III and No One Will Save You.

Amongst the celebrities were EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, Absolutely Fabulous icon Jennifer Saunders, The Masked Singer judge Nicole Scherzinger. With comedians Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade and, Harry Hill and Tim Vine rounding out the star-studded line-up.

During the programme, Bobby compared the tasks on Survivor to his ongoing stint on Strictly Come Dancing, telling his dad Jeff Brazier that the competition series was nowhere near as difficult as learning how to dance.

"I'll tell you now what I'm doing now is way harder," he told his bemused dad, lifting up his shirt up to reveal his stomach.

Celebrity Gogglebox Stand Up To Cancer aired on Channel 4.
