(FOX40.COM) — Pearl Jam announced a new studio album and a world tour that will include a stop in Sacramento later this year.

The legendary grunge rock band from Seattle is slated to perform at the Golden 1 Center for the “Dark Matter World Tour” on May 13. The tour will support the band’s upcoming 12th studio album with the same name, which will be released on April 19.

Pop rock band Deep Sea Diver, another Seattle-based band, is advertised as the supporting act for the Sacramento concert.

Pearl Jam, consisting of Eddie Vedder (vocals), Jeff Ament (bass), Stone Gossard (guitar), Mike McCready (guitar) and Matt Cameron (drums), will perform in 25 cities across North America and nine different countries.

Prior to the band’s previously scheduled 2022 concert, Cameron tested positive for the virus, prompting the band to perform without their drummer in Oakland and Fresno.
