Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run on White Horse Pike

LINDENWOLD - Police are investigating a pedestrian's death in a hit-and-run collision here Thursday.

Dal B. Baruwal, 53, of Somerdale was run down around 5:40 p.m. on the 600 block of the South White Horse Pike, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Baruwal was pronounced dead at an area hospital shortly before 6:40 p.m.

"Detectives are searching for a light-colored sedan, possibly a Tesla, with front-end damage and a dark-colored pickup truck, unknown make and model," the statement said.
