Pedestrian hospitalized after crash involving Uxbridge police cruiser

UXBRIDGE — Authorities are investigating after a police cruiser was involved in a pedestrian crash on Saturday night.

The crash occurred at 10:34 p.m. on East Hartford Avenue, according to the Uxbridge Police Department.

Police referred all calls to the Worcester District Attorney's Office.

"The pedestrian injured in Saturday’s crash involving an Uxbridge Police Department cruiser remains hospitalized," the District Attorney's Office said in a statement. "The investigation into the crash is ongoing."

The District Attorney's Office would not say how old the pedestrian was or how serious the pedestrian's injuries were.

The crash is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police and the district attorney's motor vehicle crash unit.
