56-year-old pedestrian killed in I-75 crash identified

Hamilton County's coroner has identified the female pedestrian killed in a crash Sunday on Interstate 75 near Lockland.

Diane Ras, 56, was from Union City, Indiana, according to the sheriff's office. She was struck on the highway between Shepherd Lane and Glendale Milford Road around noon on Sunday.

Southbound lanes on Interstate 75 were closed for over five hours Sunday.

It is unclear if Ras was attempting to cross the highway. The sheriff's office has released no additional details about the driver or the circumstances of the fatal crash.
