Pedestrian killed in crash near executive airport, FHP says

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian near the Orlando Executive Airport Monday evening, agency spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes said.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Semoran Boulevard near East Colonial Drive and involved a car and a pedestrian, Montes said.

The pedestrian, who has not been publicly identified, died shortly after the crash at a local hospital.

The northbound lanes of Semoran Boulevard are closed as troopers investigate.
