Pediatrician speaks on COVID-19 vaccines for children ahead of return to school

With kids heading back to school, many parents still have questions surrounding vaccines — especially the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine is available for kids six months and older, but there are still more than 42 million kids across the country who are unvaccinated. Dr. Ken Hempstead, a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente Roseville, sat down with KCRA 3 on Monday to answer some vaccine questions.
