Pelicans at Hornets: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info for Sunday

Both the Hornets (33-34) and Pelicans (30-37) enter Sunday’s showdown in the middle of playoff races with wins from both necessary, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The Hornets continue to hold off the Wizards and Pacers for the eighth seed, but Washington’s win over Indiana on Saturday keeps the pressure on Charlotte. Entering Sunday’s contest, the Hornets are 1.5 games up on the Wizards.

For New Orleans, Friday’s loss to the Sixers drops them to 2.5 games back of the Spurs with five games to go. Any hopes of making the playoffs, which seem slim with injuries to Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, almost certainly require the Pelicans to win out.

All of those playoff implications also run parallel with Sunday being the second meeting between brothers LaMelo and Lonzo Ball.

Steven Adams is out along with Williamson and Josh Hart. Brandon Ingram is doubtful but Nickeil Alexander-Walker is probable to return from a sprained ankle that has kept him out since April 4.

Charlotte will be without Miles Bridges, Gordon Hayward and Cody Martin while Devonte’ Graham is questionable.
