The Timberwolves are struggling right now, and New Orleans could not be playing them at a better time. Not only did Minnesota play on Friday while New Orleans had an extra day off, but the Timberwolves are 1-11 since starting 2-0 to the season.
New Orleans seemed to find its legs offensively on Thursday, but was outdone by one of the best offenses in the league. Minnesota is not that; it ranks 29th in the league in offensive rating and 26th in defensive rating.
