Peloton celebrity instructor Robin Arzón welcomes baby daughter: ‘She is a full-on goddess-warrior’

Celebrity Peloton instructor Robin Arzón and her husband, Drew Butler, have welcomed their first child together.
“My husband Drew and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our first child, Athena Amelia Arzón-Butler,” the 38-year-old head coach at Peloton, and the company’s VP of fitness programming, told People.
“From the moment we found out we were expecting, we felt so connected to her — like we knew her before in a past life,” Arzón said.
“We just feel so blessed and grateful that she’s finally here and cannot wait to embark on this next chapter and continue building a remarkable legacy with the newest member of our Wolfpack,” she added, using a term that describes her ever-expanding community of fans.
The lawyer-turned-fitness-star announced she was expecting her first child in September, during a live-streamed Peloton session.
She was later criticized for maintaining an intense exercise routine during her pregnancy, but vehemently defended her decisions.
“I didn’t relinquish being an athlete when I became pregnant,” she told NBC’s “Today” on Dec. 23.
“Vigorous exercise is actually beneficial for both mother and baby,” she said. “I was never going to kick back.”
In fact, the ultramarathoner even used her pregnancy to create and teach Peloton’s first prenatal classes.
Now, Arzón said that she’s taking a quick break but should be back to teaching as early as this summer.
“Life with Athena is already that much more magical. Get ready, world! She is a full-on goddess-warrior,” she said.
Her fans seem to agree — and many are anxiously awaiting the return of their queen.
“Congrats Queen, and welcome warrior princess,” Twitter user @ras_le_bol_us wrote.
“Athena is blessed to have such an incredible mama and extended Pelofam,” user Azita R agreed. “She was born a queen!”
