Blue Pumpkin betters Halloween experience for autism community

Autism Pensacola recently announced the Blue Pumpkin campaign to help the community create a positive Halloween experience for children who are autistic. On Halloween, some children may be trick-or-treating with blue pumpkin buckets, which may mean the children carrying them are on the autism spectrum.

Children who come to your door with blue pumpkin buckets may not respond to you the way other children do.

"If one of these special children comes to your door, just remember that they appreciate your efforts regardless of how they express it," an Autism Pensacola news release said.
