PEN hosting free fentanyl talk for parents in Louisville

Jan. 6—The Parent Engagement Network is hosting a free panel talk on fentanyl with Trina Faatz of Parent and Peer Recovery and Avani Dilger of Natural Highs.

The talk on "The Facts & Myths of Fentanyl and How Opioids Affect the Brain" is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 19 at Monarch High School, 359 Campus Drive, Louisville. To RSVP, go to tinyurl.com/mr2ycsn7.

Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser is scheduled to give opening remarks, along with a representative from the Boulder District Attorney's Office. A Narcan training will follow the panel, which plans to provide information about fentanyl risks and community resources.
