Pendleton Fall Festival: Scarecrow contest, food vendors, music and more. What to know.

Pendleton's 24th annual Fall Harvest Festival on the Village Green will be held Oct. 14 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.

The Town of Pendleton will sponsor the festival with the Leadership Pendleton Foundation this year.

The event will feature free inflatables and children’s activities sponsored by Foothills Church, along with entertainment through the day.

The Pendleton Fire Department will have its smokehouse onsite. There will be over 100 craft vendors and 12 food vendors.

Winners of Pendleton's Scarecrow Contest, consisting of historic Southern figures, will be announced at the festival.

"I was lucky enough to work on the very first Pendleton Fall Harvest Festival in 1999, and I am still a part of it today. I love this Festival because there is something for everyone, which is important to me. I also love that our Scarecrow Season coincides with the festival, making it feel so much more festive," Assistant Town Administrator Amber Barnes said.

Here are some of the events that will be available. For more information click here.
