Some of the Pittsburgh Penguins delivered special packages to season ticket holders throughout the region on Monday, continuing a 15-year-long tradition.

Captain Sidney Crosby’s first stop of the day was to the Jackson family in the North Hills.

Crosby met with the family, took photos and signed autographs.

“It still feels normal. We’ve been doing it so long,” Crosby said. “There’s no actual tickets anymore so that’s different, but this is something we’ve been doing for a long time.”

The captain also took a moment to help Will Jackson, a tenth grader at North Hills High School, ask a girl to homecoming.

Crosby posed with Jackson for a photo with a sign that read:

“Two captains with one question, will you go to hoco with Will?”
