Penn Avenue properties in downtown Scranton sold for $2.1 million

Jul. 11—Dalton Dickson Properties LLC purchased two downtown properties from 402 North Washington LLC for $2.1 million, according to a deed recorded Friday in Lackawanna County.

The sale includes the buildings at 320-322 Penn Ave. and 324-326 Penn Ave. which consist of AV Restaurant & Lounge, the RD Salon & Blow Dry Bar, the Daisy Collective and 12 residential units.

Jesse Vipond, co-owner of Dalton Dickson Properties LLC, said the plan is to have the current businesses and tenants remain in place.

Developer Art Russo bought 324-326 Penn Ave., the former Penguin Lounge, and 320-322 Penn Ave., which housed the Banshee, in 2013.
