Penn State Berks celebrates commencement of Class of 2021

May 12—About 260 students clad in black caps and gowns took to a stage inside Santander Arena on Saturday to grasp a diploma and celebrate.

Penn State Berks held its commencement ceremonies, honoring the Class of 2021. The event was split into two to help allow for social distancing, with students taking part in either a morning or afternoon ceremony based on their degree program.

The school's newly appointed chancellor, Dr. George Grant Jr., provided the keynote address.

Along with the in-person ceremonies, Penn State Berks also hosted a universitywide virtual event as a way to make commencement accessible for all students and their loved ones. A recording of that event is still available on the school's website at virtual.commencement.psu.edu.
