Penn State drops in the latest USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll
Despite the Wisconsin Badgers winning their third straight game against the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday afternoon, they were unable to crack the latest USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
Although the Badgers did not make it into this week’s poll, there were a few Big Ten teams that moved significantly. Penn State fell nine spots in the latest poll after dropping their second game in a row to the Illinois Fighting Illini in overtime.
There were a few newcomers to the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll top 10 for this week, and it includes Georgia(1), Cincinnati(2), Alabama(3), Oklahoma(4), Ohio State(5), Michigan(6), Michigan State(7), Oregon(8), Mississippi(9) and Iowa(10).
Wisconsin will face off next against the Iowa Hawkeyes at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 11:00 a.m. CDT.
