Pennsylvania clay shoot draws local first responders, EMA director

CAMBRIDGE − Representatives from the Guernsey County area soon will be showing their shooting skills when they participate in the 2023 Charity Clay Shoot sponsored by Southwestern Energy.

The event takes place Thursday at the Hunting Hills Shooting Preserve in Dilliner, Pennsylvania. Representing Team Guernsey County are Ben Bonnell, Emergency Management Agency director; Steve Schubert and Jeremy Wilkinson, Guernsey County Sheriff's Department; and Gregory Roberts.

According to Southwestern Energy’s Newsletter, “the 2022 event saw great success, hosting 66 teams and raising $100,000 for first responders in the Southwestern’s core operating area."

Donations from the event are distributed at the county level. The 2022 event’s proceeds were split between four counties in West Virginia and one county in Ohio.
