Pennsylvania man killed in Route 80 crash in Warren County

A Pennsylvania man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 80 in Warren County early Tuesday morning, State Police said.

Troopers responded to the crash on Route 80 west in Knowlton at 4:16 a.m. Tuesday, Detective Jeffrey Lebron said. An investigation determined a Nissan SUV, driven by Pasqual Franco, 59, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, became disabled in the right lane near mile marker 2.8 and was struck from behind by a box truck.

Franco died from the impact, while the truck driver and a passenger in the Nissan were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation.
