Researchers evaluated more than 937 hospitals that treat cardiology patients to determine the best 50.

The 2024 Top 50 list marks the seventh time Ascension Sacred Heart has been named one of the best in cardiology care, according to a press release.

“I’m thankful for the heart team we have here because they are on the front lines helping us achieve this award,” said Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola President and CEO Will Condon. “For over a century, our hospital has cared for our community, and we are honored to continue to serve Pensacola with high-quality and compassionate care.

“It feels incredibly rewarding to see a Pensacola hospital standing out at the national level.”

With February being American Heart Month, hospital officials say the achievement speaks to the hospital’s work in supporting the community’s health.

“This is a signifier of everything we stand for in striving to deliver the best possible care,” said
Ascension Sacred Heart Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Mark Grise.
