Pensacola Ice Flyers giving away 1,500 free jerseys on final weekend of regular season

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — As the Pensacola Ice Flyers’ season winds down, the team is giving fans an opportunity to cash in on free items.

This upcoming weekend, Friday, March 29, through Sunday, March 31, is the last weekend of the regular season the Ice Flyers will host games.

The first 1,500 adults in the building on Friday will receive a free jersey.

Distribution will be available for fans to get their jerseys at each entrance to the arena.

The jerseys that will be given away are inspired by the team’s Emerald Coast Alternate jersey.

Those jerseys are typically listed at $140.

This Saturday night will be Military Appreciation Night. All active or retired service members will receive a special discount of $12 for each individual of the military member who shows their military identification. Fans can also buy a Stars and Stripe tank top or a lightweight hoodie.

Concluding the weekend is Friends and Family night, where a $80 package includes four tickets, four hats and vouchers to local businesses. There is also an autograph session at the end of the game on Sunday.

The Ice Flyers host the Evansville Thunderbolts both on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and they will host the Macon Mayhem on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Although the regular season is coming to a close, the Ice Flyers have clinched a spot in the SPHL Playoffs, and they’ll look to win their first President’s Cup since 2021.

After the Ice Flyers play their final three home games of the season, they will finish the regular season on the road in a back-to-back series at the Fayetteville Marksmen in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
