Pensacola woman struck and killed by truck walking across Palafox Street
A 34-year-old Pensacola woman was struck and killed by a truck while attempting to walk across Palafox Street early Friday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
The woman was walking northbound on the west shoulder of Palafox Street at Cook Court at approximately 1 a.m. while a truck driven by a 69-year-old Pensacola man was traveling northbound on Palafox Street.

The woman entered the roadway traveling eastbound, into the path of the truck. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
