Pensacon 2024: An Overview

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacon 2024 is officially in full swing and WKRG News 5 is bringing convention coverage digital this year.

According to Visit Pensacola, “Pensacon is the Gulf Coast’s premier pop culture convention celebrating the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, horror, comic books, cosplay, animation, video games, books, and much, much more.”

The three-day event started on Friday, Feb. 23 and lasts through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Pensacon Schedule

• Friday from 1-8 p.m.

• Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attendees can meet celebrities, watch live musical performances, participate in cosplay, attend screenings and much more.

The convention, held at the Pensacola Bay Center, is known for bringing thousands of visitors to Pensacola. In addition to the loads of visitors, the festival is known for attracting celebrities, authors, and other famous guests.
