Bobby Green named Ridge League of Cities executive director

Former Auburndale City Manager Bobby Green was recently named executive director of the Ridge League of Cities. Green retired from the city of Auburndale in April after serving 30 years as city manager. He previously served six years as an Auburndale city commissioner, three of those years as mayor. He holds a master's of public administration from the University of South Florida. Green serves as chairman of the USF Master of Public Administration Advisory Board. He is a past president of the Florida City and County Management Association and recently named a life member of the International City/County Management Association. Green replaces Ruthanne Stonewall from Polk State College, who announced her retirement in December. The Ridge League of Cities assists its member municipalities in promoting efficiency in local government and in promoting things of common interest to the member cities. Its membership consists of 24 municipalities within Polk, Hardee, Pasco, DeSoto, Highlands and Hillsborough counties.

Kari Willis, Brock Clendenin join Adamson + Co.

Kari Willis and Brock Clendenin have joined Adamson + Co. as staff accountants. Willis received her degree in accounting from Florida Southern College. Clendenin received his degree in accounting from West Virginia State University. Both provide accounting and income tax services to the firm’s individual and business clients. Adamson + Co. is a full-service public accounting firm providing professional services to individuals and businesses in Central Florida and throughout the United States.

Lakeland Chamber announces 2022 board members, executive committee

The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce announced the following business leaders have been elected to serve a one-year term on the Executive Committee as officers of the board of directors effective January.
