Kim Kardashian finally responded to claims she's copying Naomi Campbell's style

From Cosmopolitan

Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are considered two of the most stylish women in the world, but the internet is convinced they're taking more than a little bit of inspo from fashion legend Naomi Campbell - and Kim has finally responded.

You may have noticed that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has definitely had a bit of a style switch in recent months - the 38-year-old has ditched her ultra-modern minimalist outfits in favour of vintage looks from the nineties.

We've been very much enjoying seeing Kim experiment with archival pieces, particularly that booby dress, but the evidence that she's following in Naomi's footsteps is definitely convincing.

Recently, Kim attended Chance The Rapper's wedding wearing a vintage Versace slip dress, and it turns out it's the exact same one Naomi Campbell wore on the catwalk in 1996.

'So what?' you may say. 'Naomi was the most famous model in the world, of course she wore the designs too'. All true, but this isn't the first time Kim has worn the same outfit as the supermodel. Or even the second time.

One Twitter user ventured to say Kim is basically copying the icon by writing, “Once is an accident. Twice is coincidence. Three times is a pattern.” Watch this video to see exactly what they mean:

And now the internet is coming for Kylie, too.

The beauty mogul is being accused of copying the crystal glasses and bib necklace Naomi Campbell wore in 1995.

Now, Kim has hit back - Instagramming a picture of the Versace dress with the caption: "
Naomi Forever 💛💫"

Kim recently went after fast fashion brands who rip off everything she wears within a matter of days, writing on Twitter: “Only two days ago, I was privileged enough to wear a one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress and in less than 24 hours it was knocked off and thrown up on a site – but it’s not for sale. You have to sign up for a waitlist because the dress hasn’t even been made to sell yet.”

So it does seem unlikely that the sisters would copy someone else's style after all that. Honestly, they're probably just inspired by Naomi - and who isn't?
