Khloe Kardashian is currently on holiday in the Bahamas with Kim and her kids, and by the looks of the photos, they're having a right good time. Let's put it this way: if pano shots of clear blue waters and speed boats aren't your thing, stay well away from Khloe and Kim's Instagram accounts.

But one Instagram post, uploaded by Khloe Kardashian, has caused a bit of a stir - and the internet is now knee-deep in criticism of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for exposing her daughter to 'diet culture'.

Yesterday, Khloe posted a series of pictures of an adorable 16-month-old True next to her cousin, Chicago West. In the photos, the babies are sitting cross-legged, diving into bags of Cheetos and Veggie Straws. So far, so cute. But it was the caption that seemed to wind Khloe's followers up. It read:

"Chi: I heard my mama say 'vacation calories don’t count'

"True: Don’t tell me twice Chi"

While Khloe was probably intending to poke fun out of the sweet pictures (let's be real, True in those sunglasses is a mood), her choice of caption instead resulted in a storm of criticism about the youngsters' exposure to diet culture over on Twitter.

"Calories and children do not need to be in the same sentence even if it’s a joke," wrote one person in response to the cross-posted pictures on Twitter.

"Are you introducing diet culture to your infant child? Don't do that!" added another.

Other followers came to Khloe's defence, however, pointing out that just because she wrote the comment on social media, it doesn't mean she or Kim actually made any mention of calories out loud.

"Some of y'all act like they actually said that... relax," posted one supporter.

"Right because True and Chi are reading and on Twitter at the age of 1. Have a sense of humour," commented another.

"People really mad over a calorie joke like if these kids can even read the tweet lol," wrote someone else.

Well, you win some you lose some.
