People flee Florida, arrive at BWI-Marshall amid Hurricane Ian

Florida flights to Baltimore either arrived early or were canceled Wednesday because of Hurricane Ian. For some travelers, fierce wind helped them decide to leave Florida as quickly as possible and manage to evacuate just in time. Many arrived at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Many vacationers returned early to the Mid-Atlantic from their vacations after Disney World shut down. They said they noticed lines for gasoline and scarce basic necessities while in Florida.
