When Beanie Feldstein attended the 2020 Golden Globes — nominated for best actress in a musical or comedy for "Booksmart" — she gushed over her older brother, Jonah Hill.

"Oh, my God, I mean, he's my best friend in the world, so I'm always excited for him," she told Us Weekly, referring to Hill's recent engagement. He proposed to his girlfriend Gianna Santos in September.

Although Hill wasn't in attendance, Feldstein's comments caught fire on Twitter, where many people apparently didn't realize that the two actors are siblings.

Hill, 36, and Feldstein 26, are a little less than 10 years apart. Their mother is a costume designer and stylist, while their father worked as a tour accountant for the rock band Guns N' Roses.

Their elder brother, Jordan Feldstein, was a manager for Maroon 5 until his sudden death at age 40 in 2017.

The two siblings are very close, and Hill even has a tattoo of his sister's name

The "Superbad" and "Moneyball" star has played the role of supportive older brother as Feldstein has burst into the mainstream spotlight. She played Nora in 2016's "Neighbors 2" before her breakout role as Julie in 2017's "Lady Bird."

In 2017, Feldstein also played Minnie Fay in the Broadway revival of "Hello, Dolly!" — which inspired Hill to get a tattoo reading "HELLO, BEANIE!" to commemorate the role.

Hill was also on hand to support his sister's first leading role in 2019's "Booksmart." The two walked the red carpet together at the movie's special screening in LA, where Hill wore a sweatshirt that read, "beanie's brother."

Feldstein told the LA Times that it wasn't hard for her "at all" when her brother began to find success in Hollywood, despite her similar aspirations.

"At that point, I was, like, 12 or 13," she said. "My parents saw how much I enjoyed school, and so they were validating what they saw in me. I didn't fight it. It made sense to me. So I was just so excited and surprised when Jonah was starting to do stuff. I was just enjoying school and doing my plays."
