It found while people in Jersey enjoyed a "good sense of community", they worked longer hours for less money.

Jersey also had the lowest voter turnout of any of the countries surveyed at 42%, when the average was 70%.

The report found people in Jersey spent a higher proportion of their income on housing than 40 other countries, but it also showed on average Jersey people had more living space.

Jersey ranked in the top ten for community, personal safety and health status, placed eight out of 13 when compared to regions of the United Kingdom.

The island overall ranked 26th out of 41 nations.
