Officials said the risk of contracting measles is low from a possible exposure at CVG. What are the symptoms?

State officials say those who flew through Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on two days in late January may have been exposed to measles.

The exposure happened in Terminal A on Jan. 27 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Jan. 29 between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., the Ohio Department of Health announced in a news release.

The department said the risk of vaccinated people getting sick is very low and advised that children who have not received the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine should get it as soon as possible.

So far this year, there has only been one confirmed case of measles in Ohio, a child in Montgomery County. State health officials said the potential exposure at the airport is related to that case.
